Hi, my name is Sophia Sala (she/her), but I also go by Sophie!

​

   I'm a senior studying illustration and animation at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, next door to my hometown Annapolis, MD. I LOVE visual development and animated movies!

​

Clients include Kissing Party LLC (Adult Swim, Morgan Jay, JB Copeland), Drivèe Media, and various MICA

thesis films.

​

   I enjoy visual storytelling, solving artistic problems, and learning from creative people. I believe that the tiniest detail in art tells the biggest story, and that the greatest stories require teamwork beyond what one person can do by themselves. In my own experience, I know that the impact of animated movies and television doesn't end on the screen, and I hope to pay that

forward someday!

   In my spare time, I enjoy watching Formula 1/IndyCar racing, plein air painting, baseball, video games, biking, and eating super spicy noodles.
